Bus Transfer to city centre
There are a number of options regarding bus transfers from the airport to the old town.
Private Shuttle Bus - recommended
- Privately chartered bus for up to 8 people
- Transfer time of approx 15-20 mins to the door of your destination
- Cost of approx 80 per bus (groups of up to 4) or 130 pln per bus (groups from 5-8)
- Airport pick up (personal meet and greet on your arrival - a card with your name will be held up)
- English speaking drivers

Regular Public Bus
A regular bus service (192, 208) operates from just outside of the airport’s main terminal direct to Krakow’s city centre. Come out of the terminal and look right and the bus stop is next to the round about on the entrance road to the airport.
You are able to buy a ticket directly from the driver (‘prosze bilety normalny’) which will cost 2.5pln. You should stamp your ticket on the bus and also make sure you have an additional ticket for luggage if you have a large bag. The bus takes about 25-30 mins and partially driver around the ‘planty’ (the park surrounding the old city walls) if you wish to get off in the centre.
There are also privately run shuttle busses that operate from a location a few meters down from the regular bus stop which offer a good alternative.
